Big Weekend coming up for CNU...amazing how things can change in sports. Just a few weeks back, the CNU football program was 1-4 and looking like the 2010 season was all but over.
Last Saturday, a huge road win at North Carolina Wesleyan...coupled with an Averett loss...and the Captains were in a five-way tie for the top spot in the USA South.
This past Saturday, a 37-7 drubbing of Greensboro kept CNU in a logjam with four schools for #1.
And this coming Saturday, they host Ferrum at POMOCO Stadium. Ferrum has won three straight and is one of the four teams tied for #1. Should be fun...make sure you are there during Homecoming Weekend...CNU football is back!
